Van Kam is pleased to announce our sponsorship of Tree Canada and its efforts toward improving the environment of all provinces across Canada by planting and nurturing trees. Ultimately, this initiative helps to improve the lives of all Canadians, and it’s one of the main reasons we’re happy to support them… improving lives is what makes us tick here at Van Kam!
Over the years, Van Kam has taken an active stance in caring for the environment and communities where we live and operate. We support and partner with many organizations committed to various causes that better the lives of our customers, employees, and the regions we serve.
“We’re always happy to support and donate to great and impactful organizations like Tree Canada,” says Alana Henry, Van Kam’s Co-Director of Charities & Donations. “We recognize and support their efforts to reduce the effects of climate change, cool our cities, filter carbon pollutants and manage stormwater just by planting and nurturing trees in rural and urban communities,” she adds.
“Tree Canada is the only national non-profit organization dedicated to planting and nurturing trees in rural and urban environments, in every province across the country,” says Valerie Molino, Tree Canada’s Communications Coordinator. “Together with our partners & sponsors in our efforts to grow better places to live, we’ve planted more than 84 million trees across the country.”
In our 75 years of service, Van Kam has remained vigilant about protecting the environment. We continually implement and review our Green Initiatives program to minimize our carbon footprint. Our partnership with Tree Canada reinforces our commitment to protecting the environment and our communities for current and future generations.
