Van-Kam Freightways Ltd. is proud to showcase its modern downtown Kelowna Service Center, featuring greater capacity to service the BC Okanagan region. This state-of-the-art cross dock facility enhances our local pickup and delivery capabilities. Van Kam offers daily overnight LTL service to/from Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and the Okanagan. 

Located on a 6 acre parcel of land, our new 12,500 square foot distribution center was completed in 2013.

Management for the project was provided by Alfred Horie Construction Co Ltd, a regional construction firm specialist. Drawing on their expertise, the facility incorporates green initiatives such as structural insulated panels (SIPS) and Cross Laminated Timber (CLT). These make the structure energy efficient using beetle-kill wood for a sustainable design. Both the Prince George Service Center constructed in 2014 and the Kelowna Service Center constructed in 2013 feature the same green-friendly construction materials, reducing our carbon foot-print. 

Our modern Kelowna Service Center, located at 2610 Enterprise Way, provides reliable LTL freight services and handles shipment volumes in a safe and organized manner. With agility and efficiency in mind, the terminal features 24 truck-level loading doors to facilitate inbound and outbound LTL shipments for its growing customer base across the region.

Greg Harrow, Van Kam’s Regional Operations Manager, Southern BC, spoke with pride of the terminal,

“ The terminal is extremely modern. It was built on the original site of Van Kam Freightways and the terminal is centrally located in a downtown core of Kelowna and very close to the commercial zone. We service from this terminal as far south as Oliver and Osoyoos, and as far north as Vernon”.

The Kelowna Service Center enhances Van Kam’s role as a regional trucking company, allowing us to better serve the BC region with our highly efficient and strategically located LTL transportation network.
