Van Kam Freightways wrapped up their exhibition on a high note two weeks ago, connecting with more than 75+ exhibitors who gathered for The Minerals North Conference 2018 in Houston, BC, which was held on April 25-27 at the Claude A. Parish Memorial Arena. This 3 days event was entitled, “Mining It’s In Our Veins” and featured a wide array of interesting mining exploration projects updates, networking opportunities and vendor exhibits.

We want to say thank you to everyone that stopped by our booth. This show once again proved to be an excellent way to connect with our customers and suppliers and to discuss mining project highlights and updates.

“Van Kam is a proud supporter and service provider to BC’s mining industry.  We recognize the challenges involved in providing transportation to and from remote sites, and have the resources and expertise to deliver a industry leading service.” said Ryan Langley, Director of Business Development.

Over the next three days at the trade show, we were kept busy at the booth, chatting with many passionate and forward-thinking mining industry leaders interested in improving the future of mineral exploration and extraction in British Columbia. Those who visited us learned something of our corporate culture, transportation and logistics expertise, and heard about our upcoming Tesla Semi Truck order! Van Kam is a company that is open to new concepts, an early adopter of new technologies, and continuous improvement initiatives. We were excited to learn more about the products and services offered of our other exhibitors to find further ways to be of value to the industry.

If you stopped by the Van Kam booth at The Minerals North Conference 2018, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us for any further questions you may have about Van Kam Freightways — we would love to hear from you!
