Van Kam Sponsors 6th Annual Give Hope Wings Expedition

Van Kam Freightways Ltd. is proud to be supporting the 2022 edition of Give Hope Wings by Hope Air. This national charity believes all Canadians should have access to the healthcare they need, regardless of where they live or if they can’t afford to travel.

Give Hope Wings 2022: Canada Coast to Coast Expedition is an epic multi-aircraft series of flights consisting of two segments from Victoria, BC to Toronto, ON to St. John’s, NL and ending at the COPA Convention in Montreal in June. Van Kam has continually sponsored Give Hope Wings yearly expedition since 2019. 

Setting Goals

First launched in 2017, Give Hope Wings has completed four expeditions, raising more than $1,300,000 towards its goal. For this year’s edition, from June 6 – 24, 2022, a squadron of pilots will fly coast-to-coast across Canada to raise $1,000,000, providing over 2,800 flights for patients in financial need who must travel far from home for medical care.

Van Kam is always happy to support local charities and non-profit organizations in the communities where we live and operate. By partnering with charities like Hope Air, and other non-governmental organizations, we help support various programs which make a real difference.
