We’re excited to announce that Van Kam Freightways has officially been recognized as a SmartWay-certified carrier through Natural Resources Canada! This certification reflects our ongoing commitment to reducing our environmental impact and running an efficient, fuel-conscious operation. Being part of the SmartWay Transport Partnership allows us to continue focusing on sustainable transportation while opening new doors to serve our customers better.

What is SmartWay?

The SmartWay Transport Partnership is a voluntary program by Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in the United States. It’s designed to help carriers and shippers improve fuel efficiency, lower costs, and reduce harmful emissions. Through SmartWay, companies can benchmark their operations, track fuel consumption, and boost overall performance, all while reducing their environmental footprint.
