Theresa Boyd Celebrates 20 Years with Van Kam

We’re proud to celebrate a remarkable milestone for Theresa Boyd, our Customer Service Manager. She is marking 20 years of exemplary service with Van Kam. Throughout her two decades with us, Theresa has become a cornerstone of our team, embodying the values and culture that make Van Kam a great workplace.

Championing Customer Service Excellence

Theresa’s commitment to customer service excellence is unwavering. As the Customer Service Manager, she ensures our customers receive top-notch service. She leads her team hands-on, addressing issues before they escalate and ensuring every customer feels valued. “Making our customers happy is my top priority. I work to ensure everyone is coordinated and nothing falls through the cracks,” she says.

Theresa works closely with the Sales Team and collaborates with other departments to maintain smooth operations and seamless communication. Her dedication has significantly boosted customer satisfaction and strengthened Van Kam’s reputation for reliability and excellence.

A Place to Belong

Theresa’s commitment to Van Kam shines through in her reflections on her time here. “Twenty years has gone by so quickly, but it feels like the right place for me,” she says. She values the job’s stability and the strong relationships she has built over the years. “I feel like I belong here. I’ve built strong relationships, and my mentor has taught me so much from day one that a simple ‘Thank you’ just cannot cut it.” she continues.

Theresa holds dear the company culture at Van Kam. Her sense of belonging and loyalty has only grown stronger. The daily support and camaraderie she experiences reinforce her dedication. “Van Kam has a great benefits program, and they care for us. That’s another reason I feel so loyal to this company,” she adds.

Go Canucks Go

Theresa is a big Canucks fan and loves watching the games, sharing the highs and lows with fellow fans. “Cheering for the Canucks is something I always look forward to. We couldn’t make it all the way in the playoffs this season, but Go Canucks Go,” she says.

In her free time, Theresa enjoys botanical LEGO, a hobby that combines creativity and relaxation. She also loves playing games like 31, Sequence, and What’s the Meme, which offer a perfect mix of competition and camaraderie. “Playing these games always brings a lot of laughs and great memories,” she shares. These activities allow her to unwind and enjoy quality time with friends and family.

To New Adventures

Theresa looks forward to getting a new bicycle to ride outdoors this summer. “I want to soak up the good weather and relax more than driving. Riding a bike feels more free,” she explains. The prospect of enjoying the outdoors on two wheels adds a new dimension to her leisure time.

Theresa also enjoys deck gardening, cultivating her green thumb and creating a serene outdoor space. Additionally, she loves going for walks with her dog, Henry. “Henry and I love our walks together. It’s a great way to unwind and enjoy the outdoors,” she adds.

Two Decades and Still Going

As Theresa celebrates this milestone, she looks forward to many more years with Van Kam. Her dedication, hard work, and positive attitude inspire those around her. We are incredibly grateful for her 20 years of service and look forward to the future. “Van Kam has been a huge part of my life, and I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else. The people, the culture, and the support make it the perfect place for me,” she concludes.
