As you know, the road and weather conditions in Western Canada have had a significant impact on our ability to provide you with our usual service. While the Province has done fantastic work to improve the conditions of our highways, our team continues to experience road delays due to accidents, weather-related incidents, and barge cancellations.
Although these obstacles have created significant stress for our team, we believe that these are short-term problems and will soon be back to normal operations. Our management team is meeting daily to discuss ideas and solutions to better serve all of you. We have also increased our operating capacity by adding weekend shifts to our operation, hiring additional personnel to load and move more freight, and have rented additional space for trailer storage.
We understand that this is our issue but felt it necessary to update you with the obstacles in our way and let you know that we are taking this situation seriously. We would like to thank all of you for working with us during these extremely difficult times. We value your business and appreciate your patience as we resolve these issues.
